Summer was busy and lots of fun. It is the time of year when our bustling vacation destination becomes a sleepy little town with fewer guests. Fall is the perfect time to go Sunset Sailing with Captain Pam aboard Smile N Wave. Many people choose to visit Destin in the Fall. During the holidays, we have a lot of seasonal markets and community events everyone is welcome to attend. We sail all year long, and the weather is still lovely and warm in Destin, Florida, usually until mid to late November, with some windy nights.
Romantic Sunset Sailing
If there is one thing Captain Pam loves to do it is making people smile and of course sail. Sunset Sailing is very romantic and is the perfect time to pop the big question. Captain Pam has taken part in many marriage proposals aboard her sailing catamaran. Having a private boat charter sail you into the gorgeous sunset on the best night of your life is a dream come true. It is always picture perfect on the open Emerald Waters so all you need is a ring and your partner. If you are taking a private charter to propose, let us know your plans and how we can help.
Family Sunset Sails
While there is some romanticism to a Sunset Sail, Smile N Wave is a family-friendly adventure in Destin Florida. We accept all ages including small children and babies. We can carry up to six passengers at a time. You are welcome to bring an ice chest of drinks and snacks. Don't forget your sunscreen, towels, or blankets on cooler evenings. We leave the Harbor before the sun starts setting, so sunglasses and sunhats are a good idea.
